Blog Post Review

Today we reviewed how many blog posts we have done this year and what sort of posts we have done. After looking at my data I want to work more on making maths DLO's.  I also need to post more posts on my blog so I am going to try and get to 25 posts by the end of the term. This year so far I have done 10 blogposts so I am going to have to work hard.

The Hook

This week for writing we were looking at different ways at starting our writing to hook in the reader we chose a camp photo and chose 6 different ways to hook in the reader. this was a really fun activity and i think i did pretty well.

Here is my Hanmer work about what happened in the 1910s in Hanmer. it was really cool to figure out what happened in the 1910s in Hanmer.  It was destroyed by fire.

My GoalsTerm 2, 2019

This week we had to reflect on our learning from term 1.  We looked at what we had been working on and found some examples of work we are proud of. Then we used this information to set our new goals for this term.

Financial Literacy

Last week we did financial literacy. What happens is you get a pay card and you get paid the money. Now you get a tax and mortgage card and then you take that out of your weekly pay. Now you get a groceries bill to add up and that gets taken out of you weekly payand at the end of the month after all my bills I had 1475 dollars left in my savings account which started at $2000. This Was a fun activity to learn about money.
