Lime Scooters cost 1 dollar to run for 30 minutes. They are good for the environment but unfortunately they have faulty brakes. That's why they have been on the news. The Auckland Council are thinking about permanently banning the lime scooter due to the brakes failing.
My opinion is ban them and make something that the brakes work on so people won't fall of. What do you think?
Hi Stanley, I agree that they need to do something about the faulty brakes as some people have really been hurt by falling after brake failure. I would not like to see them banned permanently as they are good for the environment and also they look like a lot of fun however a temporary ban to fix the problem is a great idea.
